FantasticDan Simmons has once again proven that he is one the premier authors in this country. The Terror is full of history, thrills and excitement as he takes you on an arctic expedition into- well -Terror. The tension builds up as the story goes along sweeping you up in the characters as you learn more and more about them. Cheering for some and booing for others. This is a long novel, which Simmons is excellent at, yet if you are not a serious reader you will probably not like this book.
