Reader Reviews
This was such a great read...probably one of my favorites. The book reads like fiction. So much so that at times it's hard to believe that this actually happened and that people actually survived. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical reading and even to those who don't.
UnbrokenOkay so it's the 2nd World War, we all know how it ended. Honestly this is one of my all time favourite books ever! Laura Hillenbrand made this part of the war Japan, more frightening that I thought possible. Made me totally aware of how much those courageous men went through! The writing was superb....wasn't bored at all, even when she told about the percentages of men were killed just training! Now to go and get Seabiscit, because I absolutely have to have more of her writings.
