Tried in vain to resist the Twilight Craze... but eventually surcumed to the buzz being created by the release of the first movie. The only regret I have now; was denieing myself the pleasure of emersion in the world of Twilight for soo long. The saga is the epitme of tradagy, deniel, love, regret, immortality and sacrafice for those you care the for most.
Twilight to meI think Twilight was a good book, but there were some things that could have gone a little bettr in the writing itself. I have read many books, that no affence were better.
Twilightreview Twilight may just seem like an overnight sensaton that will die down soon but nothing can be further from the truth. It took me 10 months after I heard about it to bother reading it which was unusal for me as I am know to read practically everything whenever I have time. But when I did finally read Twilight I got what all the fuss was about. For me the story (including the other 3) is perfect and I now reread them often which again is unusal as I like to read different books. My only critism is that it has severly reduced the number of books I am reading as I now spend my time rereading twilight, never failing to get the buzz which made me read on in the first place.
Twilightholsom vampire novelTwilight is a great read! If you love teen drama but with a little supernatural twist Twilight is the book for you. This story is about Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. While Bella struggles to find peace in a place she doesn’t want to be in she finds herself curious about Edward and his family’s behavior. As she learns more about Edward and his family she realizes that they are vampires. What she hasn’t yet realized is that not all vampires are like the Cullen’s family. And soon finds herself in a rush to save her mother against vampires that threaten her life.
The book is told through the eyes of Bella. Although this story is written in first person it lacks no detail. And has no immoral or sexual acts in it and has been praised for that very fact, but it still has that underlying sexual tension that makes every teen drama a good read.
Although a well written story, for me this book went a little over the top with details about Edward’s character. Such as in chapter two and through out the book she describes Edward’s touch or his hands as being ice cold. Yes as a vampire you probably would have cold hands but her constantly repeating that kind of made me not like his character as much and I think it kind of makes Bella weirder than she needs to be . I guess my judgment comes from reading other romance novels such as Night Pleasure by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I think I’m comparing the books as I read without knowing it. The story is a great, I enjoyed reading it despite my sometimes confusion on Edward’s character. After reading the first installment of this series you’ll want to read the rest of this great saga just to see what twist the author Stephanie Meyer might think of next. Twilight is sure to capture your imagination and hold it till the end.
I love Edward CullenEdward is so hot in this book. It left me wanting more. I hope he makes Bella a vampire in the next book.
