At 64, the acclaimed author of The Joy Luck Club discovered a passion for birding, which led to her latest bestseller, The Backyard Bird Chronicles.
To have your book considered for coverage in BookPage, send an email pitch and a digital review copy no later than four months prior to the title’s publication date. This gives us adequate time to assess the quality of a book and assign it to an appropriate reviewer. We will not consider books that are already published or books that are received later than four months pre-pub.
Pitches and e-galleys may be emailed to the relevant editor. Due to the overwhelming quantity of submissions we receive, we are not able to guarantee individual responses to each submission. Print galleys should be sent only upon request.
BookPage reviews almost every category of new books, including literary and popular fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, audiobooks and gift books. We rarely review poetry or scholarly books, and we do not give review consideration to self-published books, print-on-demand titles or books from presses that lack major distribution.
