June is wrapping up, which means it's time to start looking forward to the best books coming out in July! The July LibraryReads list features the 10 books coming out next month that librarians across the country are the most excited about sharing with their patrons.

Topping the list is Rainbow Rowell's Landlinethe story of one woman's complex problems and the magic telephone (you read that right) that might solve them. Other titles among the list are Chris Bohjalian's Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands; our Top Pick in Nonfiction, The Mockingbird Next Door by Marja Mills, a memoir detailing the author's friendship with the reclusive Harper Lee; as well as our Top Pick in Fiction, California by Edan Lepucki, a gripping novel about a couple's struggle to adapt in a post-apocalyptic world.
