Nancy Pearl is probably the most beloved librarian in the United States; she's the author of Book Lust: Recommended Reading for Every Mood, Moment, and Reason and is the former Executive Director of the Washington Center for the Book. She also led the selection committee for this year's first-ever Carnegie Medal.
Pearl is a person who knows books and loves books—so it makes perfect sense that she'd partner with Amazon to develop a series called "Book Lust Rediscoveries." The series reprints out-of-print novels that were originally published between 1960 and 2000. Each book includes an introduction written by Pearl, as well as discussion questions and a list for recommended reading.
