It's been a few months since I checked in with suggestions for what to read after Fifty Shades of Grey. At this point, I guess I should say: This is what to read after you've read Fifty Shades of Grey (and its sequels) and Bared to You (and its sequels) and Because You Are Mine (and its sequels).

Though it might seem like E.L. James invented erotic fiction (at least to the readers who never ventured into the romance section until they got hooked on Fifty Shades), Megan Hart has been writing in this genre for years. I was introduced to her work last year when I was prepping to go to a Romance Writers of America conference. (See my interview with Hart on our YouTube channel.)

Without saying anything that would make my grandmother blush, I'll just add: Her stories are sexy and emotional and filled with drama that will appeal to fans of Fifty Shades. They've also got snazzy new covers that will look great next to your James collection:

Erotic fiction fans will be also be pleased to hear that yesterday Harlequin announced an eBook partnership with Cosmopolitan magazine. Starting in May 2013, Harlequin will publish two short (30,000 words each) "Cosmo Red Hot Reads" a month. Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles said in a press release: "Cosmo readers love fabulous fiction and if you picked up Fifty Shades of Grey then this is the book series for you."

Do you have any recommendations for readers who loved Fifty Shades, et al?
