The evolving relationships among characters never detract from the police procedural structure of Archer Mayor’s latest Joe Gunther mystery.

Marked Man is an excellent mystery, with a surprise ending and then one more surprise for good measure.

The nicely paced Bomber’s Moon is replete with well-developed characters and relationships, with the unusual bonus of oddly likable villains.
